Robert P. Olson, D.D.S.
Dr. Olson has been practicing dentistry in San Mateo for over 40 years after graduating from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and California Lutheran University. He loves spending time with his family which includes Sheila, their three adult children and spouses, and their eight grandchildren. He continues to enjoy snow skiing with the whole family and especially now with his grandchildren. Boating and water sports are also activities his whole family enjoys together. He makes time each year to camp in Yosemite while attending continuing education courses, as well as staying up to date on continuing education throughout the rest of the year. He is passionate about volunteering for dental missions abroad. He has served on twenty-four trips to several countries which include Mexico, Haiti, Papua New Guinea, Siberia Russia, Malawi, and most recently on the Amazon River in Bolivia. He also enjoyed teaching continuing education in dentistry for several years. He has taught in Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, and Switzerland. He and his family have been active in local church throughout the years. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Mateo County Dental Society.
